Dr. Juveria Siddiqui is a food chemist and the focus of her research is to understand the function of bioactive dietary components, their beneficial effects in health and diseases particularly to the anti-oxidative and hepato-protective constituents present in fruits, vegetables and other plant sources. She also has interest in commercial development of value added functional products from underutilized natural resources. She has in addition to local and US patent, 2 international publications so far with impact factor of 5.

Areas of Research
Antioxidant activity, hepato-protective activity, nutraceuticals and other value added product development.
