Dr. Ambreen Ansari has completed her PhD. in Molecular Pathology at the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. She has four research publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her area of research is to explore the molecular genetic mechanisms that regulate immune response in tuberculosis disease. The current research interest is to understand the role of regulatory sequences in tuberculosis disease and how genetic variations within these sequences lead to changes in phenotypes.
