Cell biology lab of Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research is currently engaged in research to develop various in-vitro and in-vivo disease models related to the national need of Pakistan. The above mentioned microscopes were used to decipher molecular mechanism of different disease in targeted tissues by using Immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry techniques. Currently different labs of the institute were using this facility in the field of following disease model research:

  1. Kidney-stone
  2. Hepatitis
  3. Duodenal ulcer
  4. Diabetes
  5. Cancer
  6. Stem Cells
  7. Myocardial Infarction
  8. Angiogenesis
  9. Interverteberal Disc Degeneration
  10. Microbiology
  11. Neurobiology
