Dr. Reaz Uddin

Associate Professor
Area(s) of Research:
Computational Biology

Curriculum Vitae

27 research publications in International peer reviewed journals. He also authored one book and a chapter in book. Research interests of Dr. Reaz involve the field of Computational Biology/Systems Biology. The complete sequence identification of human genome has opened many doors to exploit it into drug discovery based research. The sophisticated computational resources in this context could provide a great help to manipulate raw data into meaningful information. Dr. Reaz's particular area of interest includes the use of Computational Biology methods to understand the complex biological phenomena.

Currently his project is to establish an efficient structure based drug discovery research method for discovering the drug candidates against infectious diseases e.g. tuberculosis, hepatitis etc.
