It gives us an immense pleasure to invite you to attend the “International Conference on “Smart Solution of a Green Future: AI in Ecosystem and Climate Action 2026”, to be held in Karachi, Pakistan, from october 27 – 29, 2026.
Over 600 scientists and young researchers from different countries are expected to participate in this international congress.

Promoting AI-enabled innovations for climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem restoration.
Supporting sustainable and high-quality development across Belt and Road regions and the Global South.
Advancing research in AI-based climate modeling, early warning systems, and environmental forecasting.
Enhancing smart agriculture and precision ecosystem management through digital and data-driven tools.
Leveraging big-data analytics for biodiversity monitoring and ecological decision-making.
Strengthening ethical and responsible AI governance for environmental applications.
Fostering international scientific collaboration among China, Pakistan, and broader BRI partners.
Empowering young scientists and early-career researchers to contribute to global sustainability dialogues.

Venue

The event will be held at the beautiful premises of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi. The ICCBS is located about 20 minutes’ drive from the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. Shopping areas, banks, post offices, stores, restaurants, and airline offices are also located within short distances of the symposium venue. Evening bus shuttles will run during the event for the participants, staying on-campus, to take them to various shopping centers and other attractions in the city.

Registration

The registration allows the access of participants tosc ientific lectures, poster sessions, full set of abstracts, a copy of the symposium program, daily refreshments (tea/coffee), symposium banquet, cultural/musical evening, welcome mixer and free transportation from hotels and guest houses to the venue of the symposium. Please note that accompanying people can attend the welcome mixer, conference banquet, and cultural/musical evening, but they may not attend any of the technical sessions. Desk registration is also possible but accommodation and entry to social events will not be guaranteed. For further details, please visit the website: www.iccs.edu

Accommodation

All plenary and invited speakers will be accommodated in the International Scholars Lodges of the ICCBS, which has excellent accommodation facilities.

General Information

Language

The official language of the conference will be English.

Visa

You are requested to apply for a visa online well before the Congress. Citizens of over 80 countries can also apply for online visa (https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/). Participants from countries with no Pakistani diplomatic mission should also write to the Congress office in Karachi in advance. A formal invitation letter would be required from the Director ICCBS (Prof. Dr. M. Raza Shah) for this purpose.

Climate

Karachi is usually sunny and pleasant in April with an average day temperature of 35 °C and the night temperature falling to 25-28 oC. Kindly bring summer clothing.

Travel

Karachi has an international airport, which provides connections to all major cities of the world. Many of the major airlines of the world have frequent flights to Karachi, since the city provides a major route linking with the Far East as well as with the Middle East, Europe, and North America. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is the national flag career.

Shopping

The cities of Pakistan rightly boast of rich oriental bazaars as well as modern shopping plazas. Bargaining is not uncommon in the market places. Leather, woolen, cotton, brass, copper and wood works are some of the specialties. Onyx ware is in abundance. Gold and silver jewellery, intricately handcrafted, is also a major attraction. Pakistani carpets and rugs are among the best in the world.

Pakistani Cuisines

Pakistani food is rich and generally meat based. All restaurants offer a range of “Kababs”, barbecued chicken and grilled meat variously spiced and marinated. The most popular meat is lamb followed by chicken. Beef kababs are also popular. Flattened bread (”nan”) baked in a deep gas or coal-fired or thinner floppy bread (”chapati”) pit is invariably served with all meals. If you like curry, there is a whole variety available everywhere. The popular local drinks are “lassi” (yogurt beaten to a rich paste with water and sugar added) or fresh lime in water sweetened with a rich helping of sugar. The food is not expensive. However take care and avoid drinking unboiled tap water or raw vegetables.
