The National Institute of Virology (NIV) at the PCMD (ICCBS) has established a Viral Bank to facilitate research and antiviral drug development in the country. This bank is associated with the largest state-of-the-art BSL2 and BSL3 laboratories in the country, equipped with sophisticated equipment.
